MIAMI HEAT

The Miami Heat recently acquired Chris Bosh and LeBron James to assist their fellow Allstar Dwyane Wade. This has sparked a huge uproar in Cleveland, Lebron's former team whom he parted ways with to join the heat. Die hard fans set flames to the ex Cavaliers jersey to show their disgust over his decision. The Cavs owner even went as far as saying LeBron is cursed, talk about bitter.

Wade, LeBron and Bosh will be the best trio to ever play the game of basketball. Individually the players are superstars who each have the ability to take center stage and score the ball in an array of situations. This has Miami fans feeling pretty good about their chances of winning the Playoffs this season but excuse my pessimism. I don't think success is going to come as quickly as fans are anticipating.

LeBron and Wade are similar players, they both drive to the basket and pull off some remarkable plays. I feel as though LeBron and Wade are too alike to have a positive effect and instead they will only end up sacrificing stats, scoring less points per game and becoming less dominant players. There have been occasions when Bosh, Wade and LeBron joined forces to reperesent USA and it was successful but this was not the whole year round. I find it highly unlikely you can merge 2 similar superstars into team players on the same team. My prediction about the heat not winning the playoffs for a couple of years could be wrong we will find out this season.

Paris Hilton's Louis Vuitton collection. Theres so much LV, although it is slightly excessive. Im guessing she isn't a fan of Goyard?!

Pharrell about life, fashion and work ethic. Personally I feel this interview will have a positive effect on a lot of people, providing knowledge about the determination required to be successful. Its not as easy as it seems. Have a look!

TEFLON DON

I've been a fan of Rick Ross for a while now, whose name seems to be changing to Ricky Rozay. His taste in music is smoother than most hip hop artists key example Maybach Music 3 featuring Erkyah Badu supplying her soulfulness as usual on the chorus, epic music! Expect Teflon Don to be a classic hip hop album.

Although there's one controversial song which I wont be listening to called "Free Mason" featuring none other than Jay Z, oh the irony LOL. This song has lead to the whole debate about rappers being Free Masons/Illuminati which is a can of worms I'm not going to open. I will say though its best to avoid artists who have been linked to them e.g Jay z, Rihanna etc. FYI Rick ross is yet to be linked to them, check out Maybach music 3

Its no secret that fashion trends have cycles. One season something is fashionable the next its not, camouflage is back in. For those that have taken a liking to camouflage or just want to trend hop, there are a couple pieces to invest in:

BBC behind the scenes video for the season 11 collection. Not the traditional direction I thought Billionaire Boys Club would go but it works. Pharrell seems to be trying to develop BBC into a high end fashion brand and Ice Cream is maintaining its streetwear skater image.

WHAT INFLUENCES YOU TO BUY?

I was thinking about the factors that influence me to buy a brands clothing. Its not always as simple as seeing a design or a logo that stands out and purchasing it although for some people it is and I'm in no way judging them. I've seen so many clothes with brand name logos across the chest in creative ways but the name of the brand itself means nothing to me. For me to buy a product with the brands name across it, I feel as though I need to understand the message the brand is trying to portray or it needs some sort of history (unless the logo is too good to pass on which rarely happens). Nowadays too many brands are offering similar products, so before I fork out my cash I try to understand what the brands message is? Do they have an exclusivity factor? (I don't want to see heaps of people wearing the same thing as me!) What is the history of the brand? (Brands like Gucci have some of the the most uncomplicated designs to the point its difficult to tell what the brand is and they sell because of history and exclusivity!)

In this present day its difficult to flourish by just creating designs and putting them on a t shirt. Lots of lifestyle brands are being created, selling more than just a piece of clothing but a lifestyle. Hopefully NO CLOUDS can cater to you and help change your perceptions on the way you view life.

AKSTAR lifestyle

Good concept, great brand. The characters are different from the norm and the logos are creative. The pictures seem to have more of an impact than a video would have. Check it out!
